Love the easy of using this software. But this year the cost went up substantially. In years past, I’d receive an email allowing me to lock in a great price. It didn’t happen this year. Very disappointing.

I knew I had to pay taxes on a “gift” of stock when I sold them. Which I did to reduce debt. But I have used Tax Act for over a decade and was pleased without the ease of filing. Brokerage firm (self managed) sent 18 pages of docs, well beyond my expertise; but I was told what to look for & where to file info. Also had ability to set me up for future quarterly payment with printed forms, filing dates and tracking log so next year will be better prepared. And much better price than pop up tax office- feel like I have my own bookkeeper. Thanks.

I've been using TaxAct for several years now and I will not switch. I know the product is user friendly and the people they have for us to contact when we have any questions beyond their extensive library of answers, are friendly and knowledgable. We've had house Rentals, house sales and businesses and have still been able to use TaxAct for all our tax needs every year and we want to thank them for all that they provide and more....Very happy customer :)
