During the document collection stage, our team is available to help answer general questions and guide you through uploading and organizing your tax documents. Support is available Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Central Time, excluding major holidays.

Once all required documents are received, you will be matched with a dedicated tax expert who will prepare your return. At that point, availability varies based on your assigned expert's schedule.
After you are matched with your dedicated expert, communication shifts to secure in-app messaging, where you'll be able to message them and schedule calls directly with your expert at times that work for both of you.
TaxAct® Xpert Full Service is offered subject to availability at TaxAct’s sole discretion. The service is complete upon the filing of prepared federal 1040 or 1120‑S/1065 business tax return and applicable state tax return(s). Service does not include access to TaxAct’s other software products, DIY features, municipal/local tax filings, foreign filings, prior‑year returns, or certain complex tax situations.
