TaxAct Barstool Sports Giveaway Official Giveaway Rules

Description: TaxAct Barstool Sports Giveaway (“Giveaway”) sponsored by TaxAct LLC ("TaxAct" or the “Sponsor”) in partnership with Barstool Sports (“Barstool”) begins at: 12:00 AM ET on February 2, 2026 and ends at 11:59:59 PM ET on April 13, 2026 (the “Giveaway Period”). TaxAct reserves the right to extend the dates for the Giveaway Period.

1. Limit on Entries & How to Enter: Limit one (1) entry per email for the Giveaway over the course of the Giveaway Period. Winners may only win one prize per person. Entries over these limits are void. All entries are Sponsor’s property. During the Giveaway Period, eligible entrants must complete the form through the TaxAct Giveaway link. Participation is limited to individuals who enter and reside and are located within the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia (“DC”), who are legal U.S. residents aged 18 years of age or older, and who are the age of majority in their U.S. jurisdiction of residence at the time of the Giveaway (“Person” or “Entrant”), except employees of TaxAct as well as the prize provider, Barstool Sports, their subsidiaries, affiliates, divisions, advertising and promotion agencies, individuals engaged in the development, production or distribution of materials for this Giveaway, their immediate family members and persons living in the same households of each (whether related or not) are not eligible to participate. Void outside the U.S. and where prohibited by law. The TaxAct Barstool Sports Giveaway will be hosted at taxact.com/barstool.

2. Marketing Consent: Notwithstanding any current or prior election by you to opt out of receiving emails from Sponsor, our agents, representatives or affiliates or anyone acting on our behalf, you acknowledge and understand that by submitting an entry to the Giveaway, you expressly consent to be contacted by Sponsor, its agents, representatives, affiliates or anyone emailing you on our behalf for any and all marketing purposes. You represent and warrant that you are permitted to receive emails at the email address you provided to us with your entry. You certify, warrant and represent that the email address that you have provided to us is accurate and correct. Your email marketing consent is limited to the email address you provided to us in connection with your Giveaway entry.

3. Random Giveaway Drawing / Prizes / Approximate Retail Values (“ARV”) / Odds: On or about April 17, 2026, the winners will be drawn at random by Sponsor from among all valid, eligible entries received over the course of the Giveaway Period (“Potential Winners”) to win a “Prize.” Sponsor reserves the right to conduct more than one random Giveaway drawing. Four Potential Winners will be selected to win a Prize. Prizes include one “Grand Prize,” which is a trip to Barstool Chicago HQ (Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $1,500) and three Mantique Prizes (ARV: $500). The Mantique Winners may choose their Prize from the Mantique memorabilia items made available as part of the Giveaway.

The Grand Prize trip will include: (i) Round trip economy class air transportation for Grand Prize Winner and one (1) Guest from a major commercial airport in reasonable proximity to Grand Prize Winner's home (as determined by Prize Provider in its sole discretion) (“Departure Point”) to Chicago, Illinois,* (ii) two (2) days and one (1)night standard hotel accommodation (one room, double occupancy, room and tax only) at a hotel to be determined by Prize Provider in its sole discretion; (iii) Non-exclusive ground transportation to and from airport and hotel;* (iv) a tour of the Barstool Chicago HQ *If a Grand Prize Winner is an Illinois resident or lives within 200 miles of Chicago, Illinois, Prize Provider (in its sole discretion) reserves the right to substitute ground transportation in lieu of air transportation.

The Grand Prize does not include any transportation, accommodations, meals, concessions, incidentals, tips, telephone calls, souvenirs, personal expenses, or other items, components, and costs not expressly listed above, including ground transportation to/from the Departure Point.

ALL POTENTIAL WINNERS ARE SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION BY SPONSOR WHOSE DECISIONS IN ALL MATTERS RELATED TO THE GIVEAWAY ARE FINAL AND BINDING. AN ENTRANT IS NOT A WINNER OF ANY PRIZE UNLESS AND UNTIL ENTRANT’S ELIGIBILITY HAS BEEN VERIFIED AND ENTRANT HAS BEEN NOTIFIED THAT VERIFICATION IS COMPLETE.

Once a Potential Winner has complied with all of the conditions herein, and his/her eligibility has been verified, he/she will be declared an official “Winner” of the Giveaway. One Prize per person. ARV will vary depending on Grand Prize travel and Mantique prize chosen. All decisions of Sponsor shall be final and binding in all respects. Odds of winning the prize depends upon and the total number of eligible entries received over the course of the Giveaway Period. All applicable federal, state, and local tax liabilities, fees, and expenses related to acceptance and use of Prize not specifically stated herein, shall be the sole responsibility of Winner. If applicable, each Giveaway winner may receive a 1099 tax form for the approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the Giveaway. Neither Sponsor nor its agents have made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize, including, but not limited to, its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular purpose. Any and all warranties and/or guarantees on a prize, if any, are subject to the manufacturers’ terms, therefore, and winners agree to look solely to such manufacturers for any such warranty and/or guarantee.

4. Potential Winner Notification: Potential Winners will be notified by Barstool, via email, of their name being drawn, and will be provided a hyperlink to a form (the "Acceptance Form") that they must fill out within 3 days of receipt, or another winner will be drawn for that particular prize. This Acceptance Form will populate the following requests: First and Last Name, email address, and Full Shipping Address. Barstool will not store or otherwise save or use this information once Mantique Prizes are shipped. Mantique Prizes will be delivered by shipment to the physical address provided on the Acceptance Form and otherwise in the manner and method determined at the sole discretion of Barstool. The Acceptance Form must be signed and returned within three (3) days of notification or Prize will be forfeited and an alternate Potential Winner may be selected as provided for in these Official Rules. Any Potential Winner is subject to verification before any Prize will be awarded. In the event any Potential Winner is disqualified for any reason, an alternate Potential Winner will be selected in a random drawing from all remaining eligible entries. If, despite reasonable efforts, a Potential Winner does not complete the Acceptance Form within three (3) business days of the first notification attempt, or if the Prize or prize notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable to such potential winner, such potential winner will forfeit their prize and an alternate winner may be selected. Sponsor or Prize Provider, in its sole discretion, will attempt to contact up to three (3) Potential Winners of any prize in accordance with the above procedure, after which the Prize in question may go unawarded if it remains unclaimed. Return of any Prize notification as undeliverable for any reason will result in disqualification. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, damaged, invalid, garbled, unintelligible, illegible, misdirected or otherwise unreceived prize notification emails, nor is Sponsor responsible for lost, late, incomplete, damaged, invalid, garbled, unintelligible, illegible, misdirected or otherwise unreceived Acceptance Forms.

5. Travel Restrictions: Travel must be completed by December 19, 2026 or the Grand Prize will be forfeited without further obligation or alternative compensation by Sponsor or Prize Provider. Travel dates and arrangements are subject to air travel, holiday, blackout dates, availability, and other prize and travel restrictions, including Prize Provider and Sponsor approval. The dates of the Grand Prize trip are to be determined based on Prize Provider and the Winner’s schedules, but Prize Provider reserves the right to determine these dates in its sole discretion. The Grand Prize trip must be booked at least sixty (60) days prior to intended departure date, through Prize Provider, and on an airline carrier of Prize Provider’s choice. If Grand Prize Winner elects to partake in any or all portions of the Prize without a Guest, no additional compensation will be awarded, and those portions of the Prize intended for the Guest will be forfeited. All elements of the Prize must be redeemed at the same time; Grand Prize Winner and Guest must travel on the same itinerary from the same Departure Point; and no changes will be permitted after confirmation of any redemption.

Grand Prize Winner and Guests must comply with all hotel check-in requirements, including, but not limited to, the presentation of a payment card, which will be used to pay for any meals, phone calls, or incidentals not included in the Prize. Each Guest must be at least eighteen (18) years of age as of the date of departure, unless such Guest is a child or ward of the Grand Prize Winner, and each Guest (or their legal guardian) must complete and return a liability/publicity release prior to Prize award. Grand Prize Winner and Guests are responsible for all taxes, fees, and/or expenses, including applicable departure taxes or fees, inspection charges, baggage fees, and security charges associated with acceptance and use of Prize. Grand Prize Winner and Guests are responsible for obtaining, at their own expense, any necessary travel documentation (i.e. valid photo identification, REAL ID, visas, passports, etc.) prior to travel, and neither Sponsor nor Prize Provider shall be liable if Grand Prize Winner and/or Guest(s) is denied entry to a flight. Once issued, airline tickets are nontransferable and may not be reissued once travel has commenced. Open airline tickets may not be issued, and stopovers are not permitted. No refund or compensation will be made in the event of the cancellation or delay of any flight, except at the sole discretion of Prize Provider. Travel is subject to the terms and conditions set forth in these Official Rules, and those set forth by Prize Provider’s airline carrier of choice as detailed in the passenger ticket contract. The passenger contracts in use by the airlines or other transportation companies shall constitute the sole contracts with respect to the Grand Prize Winner’s and his/her Guest’s transportation, and such contracts shall be solely between the Grand Prize Winner, his/her Guest, and such transportation companies. All parts of the Prize are subject to availability, blackout dates, and subject to change without written notice or warning. Should any circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor or Prize Provider, whether or not existing, known, foreseen or foreseeable at the time this Giveaway occurs, render the redemption or fulfilment of some or all of the Prize delayed, hindered, adversely affected, impracticable, or impossible, Sponsor and Prize Provider in their sole and absolute discretion, reserve the right to evaluate and make modifications to the redemption and fulfillment processes and timelines for the Prizes, which may include but may not be limited to providing additional time for redemption and/ or fulfillment, or offering experiences and items of an equivalent or greater value. In the event Grand Prize Winner and/or Guest engage in behavior during travel or at the Barstool HQ that (as determined by Sponsor or Prize Provider in their sole discretion) is obnoxious or threatening, illegal, or that is intended to threaten or harass any other person, or that in any way disparages or adversely affects the reputation, image, and/or customer goodwill of Sponsor, Prize Provider, or any of Sponsor’s or Prize Provider’s services, products, trademarks, service marks, or logos, Sponsor and/or Prize Provider reserve the right to terminate the Grand Prize travel early, and send Winner and/or Guest home with no further obligations or compensation whatsoever (which may result in forfeiture of any (and/or all) aspects of the Grand Prize). In the event Grand Prize Winner and/or Guest(s) engage in behavior during travel (as determined by Sponsor or Prize Provider in their sole discretion) that is illegal, tortious, or subjects Grand Prize Winner and/or Guest to arrest or detention, Sponsor and Prize Provider shall have no obligation to pay any damages, fees, fines, judgments, or other costs or expenses of any kind whatsoever incurred by Grand Prize Winner or Guest as a result of such conduct. SPONSOR AND PRIZE PROVIDER SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURIES, DEATH, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR OTHER DAMAGES OR EXPENSES RESULTING FROM OR ARISING OUT OF ANY TRAVEL OR ACTIVITY RELATED TO THE PRIZE OR ANY OTHER ASPECT OF WINNER’S OR GUEST’S ACCEPTANCE OR USE OF THE PRIZE.

6. Conditions of Participation & Certain Restrictions: The winner is solely responsible for properly claiming a prize within the time allotted as set forth above if selected as a Potential Winner. Potential Winners must agree to certain terms and conditions related to eligibility, release of liability, and Sponsor’s use of winner’s name and/or likeness for publicity, advertising, and promotional purposes, without compensation (unless prohibited by law) as part of the prize claim process. Noncompliance may result in disqualification and forfeiture of prize. No cash equivalents, prize substitutions or transfer of prize permitted except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event an offered prize is unavailable. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to the Sponsor to use winner’s name and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and promotion without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. By entering, entrants acknowledge compliance with these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements. By participating, entrants agree to release Sponsor, Barstool, and their affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, wholesalers, retailers or distributors, advertising and promotion agencies, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents or representatives (collectively, “Released Parties”) from and against any and all claims, demands, losses and liabilities of any nature whatsoever, which entrant may now or hereafter be entitled to assert, including but not limited to, any death, injury, loss of enjoyment, damage to computer equipment, or other harm or loss of any nature whatsoever caused or contributed to by participation in the Giveaway, any of the prizes awarded in the Giveaway and/or in connection with the awarding, receipt and use or misuse of prize, and/or claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy. Winners acknowledge that neither Sponsor nor its agents have made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize, including, but not limited to, its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular purpose. Any and all warranties and/or guarantees on a prize, if any, are subject to the manufacturers’ terms therefore and winners agree to look solely to such manufacturers for any such warranty and/or guarantee. By participating in this Giveaway, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer or in administration of the Giveaway.

7. Contingency of Giveaway: Released Parties are not responsible for lost, late, or illegible entries nor for electronic transmission errors resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions or limitations of any kind, or inaccurate transmissions of or failure to receive entry information by Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or any combination thereof. If for any reason the Giveaway is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Giveaway, the Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, extend, or suspend the Giveaway and to award the available prizes via a random drawing from among all valid eligible entries received up to the point of the action taken by the Sponsor provided a sufficient number of entries have been received. Caution: Any attempt by any person to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Giveaway is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made; Sponsor reserve the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent of the law.

8. Governing Law & Forum: These Official Rules shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to choice of law or conflict of law principles. Any suit or proceeding brought in connection with the Giveaway or any aspect of or participation in the Giveaway shall be brought in state court located in Dallas County or federal court located in Dallas, Texas. The parties to any such suit or proceeding shall submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts and waive any and all objections based on jurisdiction, venue, or inconvenient forum. BY ENTERING, YOU AGREE TO WAIVE YOUR RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND to participate in a class action lawsuit or other class-wide method of dispute resolution.

9. Entire Agreement: The Official Rules constitute the entire agreement between Sponsor and any and all Giveaway participants with respect to all aspects of the Giveaway. The Official Rules supersede and cancel any and all prior and contemporaneous negotiations, agreements, and understandings (oral and written) with respect to the Giveaway.

Note that information collected to support this Giveaway is intended to be used solely for the administration of the Giveaway.

11. Winner’s List: To receive first name, last initial and city/state of residence of winners of prizes, mail a stamped, self-addressed envelope accompanied with a signed, hand-printed request to “TaxAct Barstool Sports Giveaway Winner’s List”, TaxAct, LLC, ATTN: Sydney Spofford, 3200 Olympus Blvd., Suite 150, Dallas, Texas 75019. All requests must be received by May 13, 2026.
