Cedar Rapids, IA – February 28, 2018 – TaxAct has rolled out a new mobile app which makes it faster and easier for customers to upload their data and electronically file their tax returns. The app, available for smartphone, iPad, and Android tablet users, builds on TaxAct customer feedback by further simplifying the process of completing and filing tax returns as well as allowing for more customizable options.

The TaxAct mobile app helps first-time TaxAct customers select the most appropriate TaxAct product and tax-return forms, based on information about their individual tax situation and preferences, when they begin the process. After ensuring a smooth beginning, the app enables TaxAct customers to continually move forward with filling in and filing their tax returns on any device from start to finish. The app also utilizes built-in W-2 capture technology to import tax information into customers' tax returns.
