There are a few different causes for the "Page Cannot Be Displayed" error.

  1. Your internet connection was disconnected unexpectedly.
  2. The browser internet security connection settings may be incorrect.
  3. Cache/temporary internet files may need to be deleted.

If you are encountering this error using TaxACT, you may complete the following to correct the problem:

Step 1 - Verify you are connected to the Internet

You may try to load another website such as Google.com or IRS.gov

Step 2 - Change your security settings within the browser

In your browser's settings, allow the browser to use SSL 2.0 and SSL 3.0. Please refer to your specific browser's help files for instruction on how to do this.
