Electronic Filing goes through TaxAct®, to be transmitted to the IRS. The electronic filing module is included in the TaxAct Preparer's Edition.
E-filing with TaxAct is available for all federal returns and states with personal income tax that support e-filing for that and for any equivalent of 1065, 1120S, 1120, 1041 and 990.

An Electronic Filing Identification Number (EFIN) is required to submit returns professionally through TaxAct, and we must be provided with IRS EFIN verification. If you don't have an EFIN already, or you have not sent IRS EFIN verification to TaxAct, see below for more information.
