The states are released as they are completed using the information from that particular state. For a list of approximate release dates for states please click here.

Most likely, you have already downloaded the Deluxe and now only need to download your State Edition.

To download your State Edition of TaxACT, you can go to:

1. Click here to go to the My Account & Downloads page where you will be able to access all the programs you have ordered from TaxACT.

2. Provide your Customer ID number and Password and click the Sign In button to gain access to your download account.

-If you have forgotten your Customer ID or Password, you may recover those pieces of information by using the links provided on the My Account & Downloads sign in page or at the bottom of this page in the Related Links area.

3. Click the "All Downloads" selection to view a list of all your downloads.

• The following page will have all the programs you have ordered from us under this account, including previous years' versions.
• State Editions will be released after the first part of the New Year. Release dates may vary depending on the State.

You can also use your Deluxe program to download your State Edition by:

1. Go to to the main menu in your TaxACT program and click on "State".
2. Then click on "Install State Program".
3. You will get a dialog box called Install State Module. From there, you have three choices:

• Auto Install Method

  Enter your Customer ID, password and choose the state from the drop-down list.

• Download

  Click this button to go directly to the Login Page for downloads. Download the state to your hard drive, then double-click it to install it.

• Install

  Click this button to locate the downloaded State Module and install it.
