Download Purchases:
For the purchase of any download product, if the program has been released, it is available as soon as payment is received. If you used a credit card your product will be immediately available for download. For check or money orders, your download will become available when your check or money order is received and processed by us.
Final versions of software purchased in advance of the next tax season will not be available until January.
Purchase of Free Federal Edition or Deluxe on CD:
If you ordered the program on CD-ROM, and it is before the release of the Final version, you will have access only to the preview edition via download. At the time of the Final release of the Free Federal Edition and Deluxe, your CD will be shipped to you. You should receive your CD within 7 - 10 days of the release. If you do not receive your CD within this time please contact our customer service line at 319-373-3600 to inquire as to the status of your order.
Purchase of Preparer's Products on CD:
If you ordered the program on CD-ROM, and it is before the release of the Final version, a preview version will be shipped first. You should receive your order within 7-10 days (add a day for a holiday).
The final software will be released to ship in January. Final Preparer Edition orders will be shipped by USPS Priority Mail and should be received within 2-3 business days.
