Sign In Instructions - Desktop (Download/Install) or Online (Web-Based)
We have two products: TaxACT Online (Free Federal and Deluxe), which is web-based tax preparation, and TaxACT Desktop (Free Federal, Deluxe, or Preparer's), which is downloaded and installed on your computer.
To sign in to either account type, you can simply click on the green Sign In button at the top-right of the TaxACT website.
You will then see the sign in screen:
