TaxAct Price Subject to Change
1

Why would my price change?

As with many consumer products, the price you pay to prepare and file your taxes with TaxAct is subject to change throughout the year. The price listed on our website when you begin your return may be different from the price you see when you complete it. You will be charged the price listed on the day you pay; for most, this is the day you print and/or file your return.

Is there a better time to buy?

Prices tend to be lower in the beginning of the filing season. If you need to wait for a document that delays your ability to file, you can pay your product fees in advance of filing.

What about next year?

To take advantage of early pricing next year, take advantage of our auto-enroll feature (available mid-January). With auto-enroll, you lock in a discount percentage. Even if the price fluctuates, you will receive the same discount percentage off the final price.

Details on pricing and program offerings can be found on our website.

A few tips:

  • File as early as possible (the IRS typically opens in late January)
  • Lock in a discount percentage for next year with auto-enroll
  • Pay your product fees early and file later
