Active Forms in Forms and Schedules
1
To determine which forms/schedules are "active" in the current return, as opposed to those forms that are not being used in the current return, you need to view the Forms and Schedules list. Active forms/schedules are either automatically created (and required as a part of every return), or you have entered information in the TaxAct program that was transferred to the form or schedule so that it can be filed as a part of your return.
To view the forms and schedules currently in use, follow the steps below. Steps vary depending on whether you use the online or desktop program.

Online Navigation Instructions
  1. From within your TaxAct return, click the Tools drop-down, then click Forms Assistant.
  2. Expand the list items (or click Open all) to see details.
    • The folder icons that appear to be open with paper inside represent your active forms, schedules, etc.
    • The folder icons that appear to be closed with nothing inside represent forms, schedules, etc., that are available, but are not currently in use.
  3. Click the folder title to go to that form, schedule, etc.
    • Click Edit to update information.
    • Click Add to create a new copy of that form, schedule, worksheet, etc.
Desktop Navigation Instructions (Consumer/Taxpayer)

  2. Choose the My Return tab to see the forms, schedules, and worksheets that are being used to generate your Federal or State return.
