Form 1099-G - Entering Unemployment Compensation in TaxAct

To enter Form 1099-G for unemployment compensation in the TaxAct program:
  1. From within the return, click Federal. 
    • On smaller devices, click in the upper left-hand corner, then choose Federal.
  2. Click Other Income, then click Unemployment compensation.
  3. Click + Add Form 1099-G Unemployment to create a new copy of the form or click Edit/Review to edit a form already created.
  4.  Continue with the interview process to enter your information.
