Whether you are using the online or download version of TaxAct, there are a few different ways that you can pay the TaxAct product fees:
Acceptable payment methods include using a Credit Card/Debit Card (MasterCard, Visa, Discover, or American Express) or having it deducted from your federal or state refund (if eligible - you must choose to receive a direct deposit of refund and the federal refund amount must be $50 greater than TaxAct and Republic Bank processing fees).
Using a Credit Card/Debit Card (MasterCard, Visa, Discover, or American Express) is the acceptable payment method for the purchase of your download program (electronic filing fees are included).
