IRS Section 7216 Information Center requires tax software companies to receive a customer's consent before showing any third-party options, such as different ways to pay for your software fees or receive your refund. If you e-sign your consent through the program once, you will not need to sign it again. Your signature DOES NOT give TaxAct® the right to give out your personal or confidential information. TaxAct will NEVER give any of your information out to solicitors for any reason. It is simply a consent that states you agree to be shown other ways to receive your refund or pay your software fees.
