Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

With TaxAct® software you can gather important tax information for the students or parents of students who will be applying for federal financial aid with the FAFSA worksheet located in the Review section of the software.

To access the worksheet:

1. From within your TaxAct return (Online or Desktop), click the Review tab. On smaller devices, click in the upper left-hand corner, then select Review.
2. Click College Student Financial Aid.

This worksheet compiles tax information you will use when applying for student aid online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.

Note. TaxAct provides this form to filers, but if you have questions about the application process, additional information can be found at the website linked above. This form is not filed with TaxAct. It is not transmitted with your return or separately by TaxAct.
