Please make note of your username, password, and the answers to your security questions.  It is important that you keep them on file for future access to your TaxAct account. Due to stringent security measures, our agents cannot provide passwords or answers to security questions.

If you have forgotten your username and/or password you can return to the Sign In page and click the Forgot Username or Password? link. 

If you have forgotten or misplaced your password and do not remember the answer to the security questions being presented to you, you may click the Recovering Your Account link in the orange bar that displays.  This will take you through a series of in-depth questions to try and recover your account.

Please note:  If you are using the TaxAct Desktop products (Individual or Professional), the account recovery option is not available.  You will not be able to access your account and will need to create a new one.
