The TaxAct® Online program resides on our servers and all updates are done there. This means you don't need to run program updates or install software on your computer.
To add a state to your return after completing the Federal Q&A:
- From within your TaxAct return (Online), click State, then click Add State (on smaller devices, click in the top left corner of your screen, then click State).
- Once you add the state to your return, click Continue to continue with the interview process.
- To return to the state Q&A, click State, then click the state name or abbreviation.
