Because the TaxACT Online program resides on our servers, there is no need to run program updates or install software to your computer. Any updates to the program are done on our servers and no action is required by the user.

  1. Start a federal tax return and step through the Federal Q&A interview questions.
  2. When you come to the State Q&A section it will ask you if you want to include a state in your return.
  3. Click "Continue" and then choose the state you want.
  4. Click "Continue" and follow the State Q&A.

To add another state to your return, you may simply click on the "State Q&A" tab and then click on "Add State" (shown below).
