Server Connection Error During E-file Submission - AOL, Compuserve, or Prodigy

Setting your internet connection properties:

  1. Click the Windows Start button.
  2. Select Settings / Control Panel.
  3. Double click the Internet Options icon.
  4. Select the Connections tab.
  5. Click the Always dial my default connection radio button option.
  6. Select your internet provider in the Dial-up and Virtual Private Network Settings box. (For example: America Online, from the list of dial-up settings.)
  7. Click the Set Default button on the right side, and click OK.

After these changes have been made, try submitting your return again.
