If you have forgotten the username or password to a TaxAct account, you may still gain access to the account by following these easy steps.

- Go to the Sign In page
- Click on either Forgot Username or Forgot Password.
- To retrieve a username, click the Forgot Username link. Enter your email address, and click Send Email. Any usernames associated with your email address for that particular year will be sent to you in email.
- To reset a password, click the Forgot Password link. Enter the username, and then click the Submit button to have the reset email sent specific to that username.
