How to successfully file VITA/TCE returns using the TaxAct Professional software:

• Make sure the preparer completing the return has a valid SIDN (STIN) entered
  • You can enter the SIDN in the PTIN field included in your Preparer Master Information so it flows into the return
• Select Do not include paid preparer information on this return on the Basic Information worksheet within the program
