Thank you for contacting TaxAct regarding your California Consumer Privacy Rights. In efforts to maintain a secure channel for all consumer Personal Data Requests, you must initiate this request through the user-friendly Review your California privacy rights. website or by logging into your secure TaxAct account.

To access the California Consumer Privacy Rights webpage from within your account:

  1. Sign in to your TaxAct account, then click the My Info tile.
  2. Under "California Privacy Request," click the Make a Request link on the right, then follow the on-screen instructions.
  3. Check your email for confirmation from TaxAct.

If you are a TaxAct account holder, and would like to check on the progress of your Personal Data Request, you may sign in to your TaxAct account.

To check your progress:

  1. Sign in to your TaxAct account, then click the My Info tile.
  2. Under "California Privacy Request," you may review the Date, Type, and Status of the request.
  3. When the report is accessible, the blue View Report link will be presented and Status will show "Done."

Note. Due to the sensitivity of these requests, customer support representatives do not have any information on the progress or completion of your active Personal Data Request. In efforts to maintain a secure channel for all consumer Personal Data Requests, you should continue using the email conversation initiated by TaxAct after we received your request.
