How to Upgrade Your TaxAct Product

To upgrade to a different TaxAct product:

Online Navigation Instructions
  1. From within TaxAct Online return, click View Upgrade Options at the bottom of the left hand column.
  2. Review the differences in the products and their various pricing
  3. Click Upgrade to make your selection
Desktop Navigation Instructions
  1. Open the TaxAct program on your computer
  2. Click the Online top menu item
  3. In the dropdown menu, click Order Upgraded Program
  4. The program will lead you through the remaining steps. 

Once the order has been placed, sign in to your online TaxAct Account. Click the Orders and Downloads tile to download and install the upgrade.
