Schedule A (Form 1040) - Printing When Taking Standard Deduction

The TaxAct® program automatically doesn't print a copy of Schedule A (Form 1040) Itemized Deductions if you choose to take the standard deduction, but you can choose to print Schedule A anyway.

  1. Temporarily change your return to use itemized deductions in the TaxAct program. If you need help, go to our Force Standard or Itemized Deductions FAQ, and choose itemized deductions.
  2. Print Schedule A in the print center. If you need help printing specific schedules, go to our Printing Your Return and Individual Forms FAQ.
  3. Change your return back to using the standard deduction. If you need help, go to our Force Standard or Itemized Deductions FAQ, and choose the standard deduction.
