TaxAct does not support Form 8834. However, you can still file with TaxAct by printing and mailing your return to the IRS and including Form 8834 separately.

Important Information

• The Qualified Electric Vehicle Credit only applies to vehicles placed in service before 2007.
• You can only claim it if you have a credit carryforward from a prior year.
• This credit is no longer available for new vehicles.
• Claim the credit for certain clean vehicles placed in service after 2022 on Form 8936.
