If your W-2 lists a RITA city, TaxAct will create the necessary RITA return. You can create a RITA return manually, or remove one, by following the steps below.

To confirm if you live in a RITA city, visit RITA Municipalities.

TaxAct allows you to enter up to 24 lines in the bottom section of Form W-2. If you need more than that, you will need to paper-file your return.

  1. From within your TaxAct return (Online or Desktop) click State. On smaller devices, click the menu icon in the upper left-hand corner, then choose State.
  2. Click Ohio
  3. Click City Return
  4. Click Review for RITA Form 37, Individual Income Tax Return
  5. Choose your residency
