1

With the release of the enhanced stock data import feature in the TaxAct program, you will now be able to import information from the following brokerages and financial institutions (see the end of this topic for navigation steps to reach the area in the Q&A screens where you can import from a brokerage/financial institution or complete a CSV import):

  • APEX
  • Betterment
  • Capital One Investing
  • Form8949.com
  • GainsKeeper (includes OptionsXpress users that also have a GainsKeeper account)
  • Raymond James
  • Raymond James Bank
  • TD Ameritrade
  • UBS
  • WiseBanyan

Note. If the brokerage(s) you wish to import your transactions from is not listed, that indicates we have not yet been authorized by them to import their transactions. If you would like that ability, please contact them directly and make that request to encourage them to allow that to happen.

Below we have provided more detailed information as to exactly what is possible to import from each brokerage or financial institution. An indication of the ability to import "Banking Information" allows our customers to have their tax refund direct deposited back into the account if they wish.
