To preview your return, you may use the following instructions to view a PDF copy of your Form 1040 U.S. Individual Income Tax Return.

1. From within your TaxAct return (Online or Desktop), click Federal to expand, then click Summary. On smaller devices, click in the upper left-hand corner, then click Federal.
2. Continue through the screens to review the federal and state returns (if any), then click View Your Federal Return.
3. Click Preview to view a PDF of the Form 1040.

Note. The return will be watermarked "View Only" and cannot be paper-filed. To print a copy without the watermark, you may do so from the Print Center or from the Filing menu after the product fees have been processed.
