Please follow the instructions below to submit a copy of your IRS e-file Application Summary for verification (see the Access or Print the Application Summary from IRS e-Services FAQ if you need help). If you have multiple offices, each location must have a unique EFIN to verify.

To submit your EFIN documentation for verification:

  1. Sign in to your TaxAct account online, click Practice Administration, then click the EFIN Verification dropdown.
  2. Enter your information in the EFIN and Tracking Number fields.
  3. Click Choose File, locate your e-file Application Summary, then Double-click the file.
  4. Click the Checkbox next to By submitting this form you represent that the information is accurate and you are authorized by the IRS to file tax returns using the EFIN(s) provided above, then click Submit.

We will notify you via email if your EFIN information is rejected for any reason.  After submission, you can check your verification status at any time, your verification status will be available in your TaxAct Account by January 4, 2022.
