Verification Codes - Receiving Via Text Message

To receive your verification code via mobile phone as a text message: (standard text rates apply)

  1. Sign in to your TaxAct Account.

  2. Click the My Preferences tile.

  3. Click (manage) next to Mobile Phone, edit your phone number, and then click Update Phone. A verification code will be texted to you. Enter the code within one hour to verify your phone number. To enter the code later (or to request a new code), click Unverified next to Mobile Phone.
