To receive your verification code via mobile phone as a text message: (standard text rates apply)
Go to TaxAct.com/auth and enter your username and password. Sign in to your TaxAct Account.
Click the My Preferences tile.
Click manage next to Mobile Phone and enter your phone number. A verification code will be texted to you. Enter the code within one hour to verify your phone number. To enter the code later (or to request a new code), click "unverified" next to Mobile Phone.
Change your primary authentication method from email to mobile phone under "Primary Authentication Method".
