If you have met the physical presence test by the filing due date, you will need to enter a Date Ended on Form 2555 Foreign Earned Income, Line 16. If you are seeing the Red Alert titled "Error or Omission: Foreign Income," enter the date you are filing the return in the Date Ended field.
