The returns created in the Online TaxAct^® software are updated in real-time, so once you change a value and continue to the next screen, the changes are saved. With the Online product, there is not a restore or back-up feature that allows you to view or access the return in a previous state.

Should you make changes to a return while utilizing the Desktop (download) product, you can use the restore backup feature to potentially restore the return to an earlier state. This will depend on when the daily and weekly backups were created and the options you selected when installing the program.
