Reports Printing with Columns Missing
1

If columns are missing or pushed to a different page when you print a report, it may be related to the system default font size. You most likely have increased the Dots Per Inch (DPI) of your system fonts within the Windows Display settings.

You can first try this (if you're using the desktop program):

  1. Close the TaxAct program, then right-click the TaxAct desktop shortcut.
  2. Click Properties, then click Compatibility.
  3. In the Settings section, click Change high DPI settings, click the checkbox next to Override High DPI Scaling Behavior, then click the dropdown below Scaling performed by and click Application.
  4. Click Ok, then click Apply.

If this does not work, we suggest adjusting your Windows display settings. Settings for your system default font size can be found in your Windows Control Panel under display settings. Change your font size to 100% or 96 DPI. If you require a larger view on your screen, we would suggest decreasing your screen resolution instead. This will allow for no changes in system fonts but also the larger screen view.

Should this not resolve the issue, it may be related to the Accessibility settings in Windows Internet properties.

To make changes to the Font settings located in the Accessibility tab:

  1. Close the TaxAct program or webpage.
  2. In the taskbar at the bottom of your computer screen, click the field that says Type here to search, then type "Internet Options", and click Open.
  3. In the window that appears, click Accessibility, then click the checkboxes next to Ignore font styles specified on webpages and Ignore font sizes specified on webpages.
  4. Click OK, then click Ok.
