Reports Printing with Columns Missing
1

If you are printing reports and columns are either missing or have been pushed to a different page, it may be related to the system default font size. You most likely have increased the Dots Per Inch (DPI) of your system fonts within the Windows Display settings.

You can first try this:

  1. Close the TaxAct program.
  2. Right-click the TaxAct program icon (desktop shortcut).
  3. Click Properties, then click Compatibility.
  4. In the Settings area, check Override High DPI Scaling Behavior and select "Application" from the Scaling performed by drop-down. (For Windows 7, check Disable display scaling on high DPI settings.)
  5. Click Apply, then close the Properties dialog window.

If this does not work, we suggest adjusting your Windows display settings. Settings for your system default font size can be found in your Windows Control Panel under display settings. Please change your font size to 100% or 96 DPI. If you require a larger view on your screen, we would suggest decreasing your screen resolution instead. This will allow for no changes in system fonts but also the larger screen view.

Should this not resolve the issue, it may be related to the Accessibility settings in Windows Internet properties.

To make changes to the Font settings located in the Accessibility tab:

  1. In the Windows search bar, type "internet options" to search your settings.
  2. In the search results that appear, click Internet Options or Internet Properties.
  3. In the Internet Properties box (which opens to the General tab), click Accessibility in the lower right of the General tab.
  4. Check Ignore font styles specified on webpages and Ignore font sizes specified on webpages.
  5. Click OK to save the changes.
