Entering in Program - Name, SSN, and Date of Birth

To enter or modify the taxpayer's (or spouse's) name, Social Security Number (SSN), or date of birth in the TaxAct return:
From within your TaxAct return (Online or Desktop), click Federal (on smaller devices, click in the top left corner of your screen, then click Federal).
Click the Basic Information dropdown, then click Name to review your personal information.
Continue with the interview process to enter your information.
