Changing Basic Information (Name, SSN, Birthdate)

If you need to change your name, Social Security number (SSN), date of birth, or other basic information:

From within your TaxAct return, click Basic Info (on smaller devices, click in the top left corner of your screen, then click Basic Info).
On the screen titled Your Basic Information, click Edit to edit the information you already entered or imported in that section.
