TaxAct supports the individual tax return on Form 1040 U.S. Individual Income Tax Return but does not support Form SS-8 Determination of Worker Status for Purposes of Federal Employment Taxes and Income Tax Withholding. This form is a request for a determination letter from the IRS regarding a worker's status and is completely separate from the individual tax return on Federal Form 1040. It must be mailed to the IRS separately from your tax return and to a separate address as indicated in the IRS instructions for the form.
