TaxAct^® supports Form 5472 Information Return of a 25% Foreign-Owned U.S. Corporation or a Foreign Corporation Engaged in a U.S. Trade or Business within the corporate Form 1120 U.S. Corporation Income Tax Return return. There is a maximum of five copies that can be added to the return. If you need more than five copies, you must complete the additional Forms 5472 by hand and paper file your return. The form can also be found on the IRS website.

To complete Form 5472:

1. From within your TaxAct return (Online or Desktop), click Federal. On smaller devices, click in the upper left-hand corner, then click Federal.
2. Click Miscellaneous Topics in the Federal Quick Q&A Topics menu to expand, click Foreign Information to expand, then click Form 5472 - Information Return of a 25% Foreign-Owned U.S. Corporation.
3. Continue with the interview process to enter all of the appropriate information.
