TaxAct® supports Form 5472 Information Return of a 25% Foreign-Owned U.S. Corporation or a Foreign Corporation Engaged in a U.S. trade or Business; within the corporate (1120) return.  There is a maximum of 5 copies that can be added to the return.  If you need more than 5 copies, you must complete the additional Form 5472 by hand and paper file your return. The form can also be found on the IRS website at Form 5472.

To complete Form 5472:

1. From within your TaxAct return (Online or Desktop) click Federal. On smaller devices, click in the upper left-hand corner, then Federal.
2. Click Miscellaneous Topics under Federal Quick Q&A Topics to expand that category.
3. Click Foreign Information
4. Click Form 5472 - Information Return of a 25% Foreign Owned U.S. Corporation
5. The program will proceed with the interview questions for you to enter or review the appropriate information
