A TaxAct username is the unique identifier to an account and therefore cannot be changed once the account has been established.

To use a different username, create a new account by visiting TaxAct and choosing the account type desired. You would then be required to register again, at which time you can choose the new username.

Note. Prior year returns and/or software purchases cannot be moved to a new account.
