Changing Your Username
A TaxAct username is the unique identifier to an account and therefore cannot be changed once the account has been established.
If you would like to use a different username, you may simply create a new account by visiting TaxAct and choosing the account type desired. You would then be required to register again, at which time you can choose the new username.
Please note that your prior year returns and/or software purchases are not able to be moved to the new account.
