Although you may have an account for a previous year, in order to use TaxACT Online for the current year, you will need to create a new account. You may access TaxACT Online and select the product you wish to use.

You may use the same Username and Password you had last year; however, the social security number (SSN) provided while setting up the account must match the one used on the prior year's TaxACT account.

If the SSN on your prior year TaxACT account was removed prior to creating your new account, the system will not have a way to confirm that the Username you are wanting to use is associated with the SSN you are using. If this is the case, you may choose to create a new Username and Password.
