Adding or Removing the Refund/Owe Indicator

To toggle the Refund/Owe indicator on or off in your TaxAct Professional program:

  1. Click Preparer on the main menu bar at the top of the program window, then click Preferences in the drop-down.
  2. Click the Miscellaneous tab, then check Show the refund/owe indicator (when applicable).
  3. Click Save and Exit.
