After you click Download to download the TaxAct program, the [filename].exe should appear at the bottom of your screen. If the file does not appear at the bottom of your screen, try one of these options:
Check your browser downloads. From within your browser, user your keyboard to press Ctrl + J, and you can view your most recent downloads. Click [filename].exe to start the installation process.
Check your downloads folder. In the taskbar at the bottom of your computer screen, click in the field that says Type here to search, then type "file explorer", and click Open. Double-click Downloads, and double-click [filename].exe to start the installation process.
Search your computer. In the taskbar at the bottom of your computer screen, click in the field that says Type here to search, then type "file explorer", and click Open. Click This PC, then click in the field that says Search This PC. Double-click [filename].exe to start the installation process.
