Maryland - State Pickup Amount

Maryland State Retirement Pickup Contributions (Maryland STPICKUP) are entered in the field specified as Maryland state retirement pickup contributions in the Federal Q&A, or directly on Form W-2. This information will then transfer to Line 3 of Maryland Form 502. Entering the STPICKUP in the Other Box 14 description and amount fields will cause the return to be rejected, as will entering the same information in both areas.
