Pennsylvania - Local Taxes
1

Pennsylvania residents have access to the following tax information.

The Pennsylvania Department of Revenue outlines that:

Local taxes are not administered by the PA Department of Revenue, but by local tax authorities in each area. For a list and brief description of local taxes which can possibly be levied by a municipality (i.e. borough, township, or city), school district, or county, please contact the Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED).

Another way to find out the specific taxes being levied in your municipality, school district, or county is to contact your local tax authority (check the government pages of your local telephone directory).
