TaxAct® supports the Pennsylvania state tax return, but does not support the tax returns for Pennsylvania localities.

Pennsylvania Department of Revenue Frequently Asked Questions "What taxes are imposed on a local level?":

Local taxes are not administered by the PA Department of Revenue, but by local tax authorities in each area. For a list and brief description of local taxes which can possibly be levied by a municipality (i.e. borough, township, or city), school district, or county, please contact the Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED).

You can download the Taxation Manual at the DCED website.

The best way to find out the specific taxes being levied in your municipality, school district, or county is to contact your local tax authority (check the government pages of your local telephone directory).

To obtain the taxes and rates for the municipalities, see Municipal Tax Info.

To obtain the applicable county taxes, enter the name of the county at County Tax Info.

To obtain the municipality, school district, or county, enter a street address at Find Local Tax.
