Your credit card is charged just prior to the release of the TaxAct products that you have ordered. We will send an email a week ahead of time to remind you of the billing.

In some cases, your order may consist of a bundle, and the products included in that order may have different release dates, resulting in more than one billing date. We have listed guidelines below that we use in charging your card:

Professional Preparers

• All Professional Federal Editions are billed in October
• All Professional State and E-Filing (Unlimited or Incremental) are billed in December

Individual Consumers

• All consumer programs are billed in late December

Once the initial billing date for a program has passed, any order placed after that date is billed at the time the order is submitted.
