New Mexico Form RPD-41326 Rural Health Care Practitioner Tax Credit Claim Form is a fillable form.

To enter the information for the credit: 

TaxACT Online Users Forms Method:

  1. From within your TaxACT return (Online), click on Jump to Forms & Topics 
  2. Expand the New Mexico view, and then expand the Forms and Schedules view
  3. Scroll down and select Form RPD-41326
  4. Click Add to create a new copy of the fillable form where the information can be entered or click Review to review a form already created

TaxACT Desktop Users Forms Method:

  1. From within your TaxACT return, click on the Forms button in the top left corner of the screen 
  2. Expand the New Mexico view, and then expand the Forms and Schedules view
  3. Scroll down and select Form RPD-41326
  4. Enter the information directly on the form 

Once the fillable PDF form is completed, it will then become a part of the return and will be electronically filed and/or printed with the return.

New Mexico requires that a copy of your certification from the New Mexico Department of Revenue be provided to support your claim of this credit. You have two options for submitting the required information to New Mexico.

Option #1
To attach a PDF of the required documentation to the electronically filed return:

  1. During the filing steps, on the screen titled E-Filing - Attachments to Return, select Attach Documents. To attach a document, it must be in PDF format.
  2. Click Add to add a new attachment.
  3. Choose the return and attachment you are adding.
  4. Click the Browse button to find the file you want to attach.
  5. Click Finish once you have added the file.
  6. You will need to uncheck the box for Form PIT-CR on Form 8453 during the e-file steps unless you are mailing in documentation for a different credit.

The document will be sent with your electronically filed return.

Option #2
If you do not have the ability to attach a PDF, or would rather send a hard copy of your documentation, you can still electronically file your New Mexico return.

In the New Mexico electronic filing steps, the screen titled New Mexico E-File Step - Attachments will direct you to mail any supporting schedules or statements. The documents should be mailed to the New Mexico Taxation and Revenue Department after the return has been accepted electronically. This enables you to electronically file the return and submit the required documentation to the State of New Mexico.
